Chris has worked in the sector for over 25 years, starting out in front line drug services and managing a Criminal Justice team for several years. In 2007 he moved into the commissioning world with one of the largest DAATs in the country, then in 2013 into Local Government Public Health where he held a wide portfolio of commissioning responsibilities. During the COVID pandemic Chris helped to establish the English Substance Use Commissioners Group which he chaired for 2 years. In late 2022 he took the role of Director of Strategy and Partnerships at Change Grow Live.
